All 7th-grade students should have their first dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine by September 28, 2022. All 12th grade students should have their second dose by September 28, 2022. Any 7th or 12th-grade student who has not completed these state-mandated vaccines will not be allowed back in school until the requirements are met. Notices and letters have gone home with students.

September 15, 2022, through October 15, 2022, has been declared National Hispanic Heritage Month. Help us celebrate the rich history, heritage, and diversity of our Hispanic American students.

Please log onto Swampchomp.org nightly to sign up for your lunches and swamp sessions. If used correctly, this program can be powerful, but we need everyone to do their part.

Tomorrow Night, Monday, September 19th, the counseling department is holding a Senior Information Night at 5:30 in the Auditorium. All students & guardians should attend this event to get information on senior events and help with preparing for college & career goals.

The Lady Hawks soccer team will travel to Elizabethtown Middle School on Monday. Game time is 4:00 pm.

Our volleyball teams will host Heide Trask on Tuesday and travel to Pender High School on Thursday. JV games begin at 4:30 and varsity games begin at 6:00 pm.

Our Lady Gators tennis team will travel to West Bladen on Monday and host West Columbus on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Matches begin at 4:00 pm.

Our varsity boys’ soccer team defeated Douglas Byrd on Friday with a staggering 9 to 0 victory. Go Gators! This week they host the Whiteville Wolfpack on Wednesday.  Game time is 5:00 pm. Don’t forget the soccer team’s breakfast fundraiser at HWY 55 in Whiteville, on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 8:00 to 10:00 am.

Let’s give a big shoutout to our varsity football team for their win over the Lejeune High School Devilpups this past Friday. The final score was 55 – 14. Come out on Friday to support our Gators as they take on the Jones Senior High School Trojans! Game time is 7:30 pm.
