The first day of school is tomorrow, Monday, August 29, 2022. We look forward to the start of a new school year. Students will report to homeroom tomorrow morning and receive their updated schedules.

Buses will run on our regular schedule, but we ask that you be patient as our drivers grow accustomed to the route. The times posted on Facebook are approximate. If there are concerns, please contact Mr. Herman Bland, our bus coordinator.

Let’s give a big shoutout to our Lady Gators volleyball teams for their wins over Red Springs. Go Gators. This week they will travel to take on West Bladen on Monday and then host West Brunswick on Friday. JV games begin at 4:30 and varsity games begin at 6:00 pm.

Our boys’ soccer team will host Lejeune High School on Tuesday for their first contest of the season. Game time is 4:30 pm.

Our Varsity Football team will travel to Hobbton High School on Thursday to take on the Wildcats. Game time is 7:00 pm.

Any high school girls interested in playing tennis can still play this season. Please contact Mrs. Roleita McKoy if you are interested.

Middle School Girls Soccer Try-Outs will start after school on Tuesday from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm. Tryouts will be Tuesday – Thursday. In order to participate, all athletes need to have a current physical.

The Student Council Association Senior Class Officers are sponsoring a “KID BOOK BAG” service project. ALL seniors are challenged to bring a new book bag for an elementary school kid Monday through Friday of this first week of school! Senior officers want EVERYONE who will to bring a book bag, but, SENIORS, it’s your opportunity to show your gratitude and leadership to start this school year right. There will be a box in the main office for your donation!! THANK YOU for your gift.
