Thirteen-year-old Jonah Webb is the eighth-grade son of Prusann and Johnathon Webb of Lake Waccamaw.
He said he likes the sports the best at East Columbus Junior-Senior High School. “They inspire me,” he said.
His English-language arts class is his favorite and his favorite teachers include Coach Zach Sellers, Tonya Jacobs and Alina Freeman.
His role model, and inspiration, is 20-season Major League Baseball shortstop Derek Jeter.
Webb said he would love to win a state baseball championship while at East.
Outside of school, he enjoys welding.
“I want to be a welder, or on a S.W.A.T. team,” he said.
He is a fan of country music and of the film Central Intelligence. He likes to eat chicken and play Forza Horizon 5. He is a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the New York Yankees, enjoys SnapChat and reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
The emoji he said best describes him is the P emoji because, “I’m pushing P.”
He said something people don’t know about him is that he likes to put ketchup on his steak.
He said his dream job would be serving as a member of a special weapons and tactics team.
He said that if he won $1,000,000 in a lottery, “I would give it to my parents.”
